Though I dislike the way Flat Stanley's. character  came into existence,
I see that kids like the character a lot. In a funny way , the author imparts some knowledge about the country to the kids. The interest level is always maintained  . So I like the book.

A good bed-time story on a weekend.
In around 25 pages, an interesting book with comfortable fonts and live pictures.

This book is based on the life of a real hero dog. There a tombstone dedicated to it him.
There is even e wikipedia page for Balto http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balto and
as many of you might already know, a movie in his name.
